Our Idea Generation workshop introduces a range of techniques to generate new ideas which have value and filter these ideas to determine the extent of the opportunity they offer. The session is full of practical tips, approaches and tools to help entrepreneurs source and filter ideas and build them into tangible opportunities

Workshop 2 - Creativity & Innovation
This workshop will focus on both creativity and innovation, helping participants develop an understanding of the relationship between innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship allowing them to devise solutions to specific challenges. Market test tools will be introduced and applied to test your ideas in the marketplace by employing a framework to evaluate the extent of business opportunity.

This workshop defines and describes the various stages in the process of business modelling and business planning. In this very practical session, the Business Model Canvas is used to build a viable business model around your idea.

Do you want to share your big ideas, but don't know where to start with the application process? Do you want to find out more about how to write up a good application? Then join us this March to learn all the tips and tricks towards writing a good application.
This clinic is a great opportunity for our students to learn how to prepare a good application for their business ideas - guiding you through the application process for the UWS Kick Start Business Idea Competition.

Kick Start: Live Awards Event
Join us as we celebrate and announce our 2022 Kick Start Business Idea Competition Champions.
The selected winners of our competition will be chosen and announced live at our Awards Event by our external judging panel (from successful organisations such as Elevator, Converge and Young Enterprise Scotland). Winners of our competition have the opportunity to win big cash prizes (£10,000 cash pot), awards, trophies and a direct entry into the Academic Accelerator Programme run by Elevator UK.

Kick Start the Summer with our first in-person Celebration Event of the Year – Celebrating Big Ideas!
